The Aiken County Schools District, in conjunction with area law enforcement agencies, has implemented a Safe Schools Initiative.  A meeting for parents will be held at South Aiken High School on May 15th, 2013 at 6 PM.  More information about this meeting can be found here.

NAHS wins Palmetto Gold

North Augusta High School is designated a Palmetto Gold School in the Palmetto Gold and Silver Award Program.  This designantion is based on academic success in the 2011-2012 school year.  This is yet another prestigious award for North Augusta High, where, "We Believe."



NAHS School Improvement Council Wins State Award

The North Augusta High School School Improvement Council was awarded Honorable Mention in the Dick and Tunky Riley Award for School Improvement Council Excellence competition.  This award is given for efforts to improve the school and community.  It is rare for high schools to be part of the top five in the state for an award based on volunteering.  What a great exclamation point to a great year!

	Project Homage: Honoring Our Military with Appreciation and with Grateful Enactments focuses on honoring our American veterans and active military through enactments of appreciation.  A special commemorative brick program has been initiated by the North Augusta High School Future Business Leaders of America and NJROTC to recognize the names of our veterans and active men and women who serve in the military.  Please check out the Homage website at: http://www.projecthomage.com

Congratulations NAHS faculty and staff!  United Way has named us the United Way High School of the Year for 2012 based on generous giving!  Special thanks to Dawn Anderson who spearheaded this campaign.  We believe!

Congratulations to all students, parents, faculty, staff and the North Augusta community.  North Augusta High School received an "Excellent" Improvement Rating and "Excellent" Absolute Rating on the South Carolina School Report Card.  This is the first time in our school's history that we have achieved excellence in both categories!  At North Augusta High School, "I believe" is alive and well.
